How to File Your Grievance

Follow these simple steps to submit your assessment challenge.

1. Print Your Packet
Get the documents ready.

Once our AI has drafted your argument and our engine has compiled the comps, download the PDF and print it out single-sided. The packet contains:

  • Form AR1 (Notice of Grievance)
  • Evidence Brief (AI-written argument & advanced comparable analysis)
  • Detailed Filing Instructions (Cover Page)
2. Sign the Form
Authorize the grievance.

Locate the signature box at the bottom of the Form AR1. Sign and date the form. Unsigned forms will be rejected by the county.

3. Submit to ARC
Choose how you want to file.

Option A: Mail It (Recommended)

Nassau County Assessment Review Commission
240 Old Country Road, 4th Floor
Mineola, NY 11501

* We recommend using Certified Mail with Return Receipt to prove delivery.

Option B: File Online

You can transcribe the values from our packet into the county's online portal.

Go to Nassau County AROW Portal →
4. Wait for Results
The process takes time.

The Assessment Review Commission (ARC) reviews grievances between May and March of the following year. You will receive a determination letter in the mail. If you are not satisfied with the result, you can file for Small Claims Assessment Review (SCAR).
