Filing Deadline

Last day to file your 2027/28 grievance with the Assessment Review Commission (ARC). Missing this date means waiting until next year.

Assessment Rolls Finalized

ARC reviews all grievances. If your grievance is approved, your reduced assessment will be reflected starting with the October 2027 School Tax bill.

If Denied

Small Claims Assessment Review (SCAR)

If ARC denies your grievance, you can file a SCAR petition in Nassau County Supreme Court within 30 days of the final assessment roll. Your assessment cannot increase as a result of filing.
